The information in this section provides insight on the issues and events that characterize the history of a water resource as described by the residents who've lived, worked, and/or played there. Their experiences are a significant part of the Atlas because they provide a rich, descriptive, and human perspective to life on these waterbodies. As such they can provide us with a sense of what it was like in a certain time or place.
