Happy 100th Birthday, Pinellas County!

Pinellas County is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its incorporation with a series of events. Those below (except for the Rays game) are being held at the Florida Gulf Coast Center for Fishing, 12211 Walsingham Road, in Largo. Come out and join the party!

Saturday, September 15
• Centennial Celebration Reception, 7-9 pm, Fisherman-Formal dress, complimentary hors d'oeuvres and cash bar
• Run 4 the Fish 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run at Walsingham Park (across the street from the Center for Fishing), 5k starts at 7:30 am, sign up here or come into the Center to register in person. Register quickly for a discount!
• Pancake Breakfast, 8 am, $5 all you can eat
• Family Fish Fry, 12 noon, $10 all you can eat
• All day activities - archery booth, interactive fishing games, cast netting games, glitter tattoos, candy art, snow cones
• Special guests - Tampa Bay Rays Street Team will be hosting batting and catching games

Sunday, September 16
