North county water customers could experience low water pressures Oct. 30–Nov. 1

Pinellas County Utilities will be conducting repairs on the North Booster Water Station, located at 27707 U.S. 19 N., Clearwater, beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 30. The repairs will be underway for approximately 48 hours.

During this period, customers in northern Pinellas County may experience lower than normal water pressures. Customers in the area are asked to suspend non-essential water use, such as car washing and lawn irrigation, during the 48-hour period.

Motorists in the area will experience short closures of the State Route 580 entrance ramp to northbound U.S. 19 early Tuesday and Thursday mornings. The work is scheduled to be completed by Thursday, Nov.1.

The project was initiated to replace damaged infrastructure to help ensure a reliable water supply to Pinellas County customers in the area.

This project underscores Pinellas County Utilities’ commitment to delivering first class services to the public and our customers by exceeding customer expectations and ensuring effective and efficient delivery of county services and support.
